Door Hinge Capture Plates (set of 4)

These Door Hinge Capture Plates replaces the nuts and washers in Vans kit for each hinge that attaches to the door. The Door Hinge Capture Plate is normally epoxied in place on each door and then covered over for a more pleasing aesthetic look, and so that the McMaster Carr seals, that many builders opt for, can be used.  It is tapped for 10/32 so that the existing screws in Vans kit can be utilized.  The 6061 aluminum is glass beaded  to allow for good adhesion of the epoxy .  The Door Hinge Capture Plate is milled with a slot which is slightly less proud then the thickness of the Vans supplied hinge tongue when installed. This allows the hinge tongue to be flat against the fiberglass when installed.   Each Capture Plate weighs .62 ounces. Prime if desired.  See Download Instructions
