Cabin Door Hinge Capture Plates (set of 4)

These Cabin Door Hinge Capture Plates replace the nuts and washers provided in Van’s kit.  They are made from 6061 aluminum, glass beaded, and are intended to be permanently installed with epoxy during fitting of the hinges.   These Capture Plates have 10/32 Helicoils that are inserted for a more positive grip, reducing the chance for cross-threading. The 10/32 Helicoils also allow for the use of the existing screws in Van’s kit.  During the door fitting on the RV10, you will remove the doors many times for fitting.  These Cabin Door Hinge Capture Plates make that job much easier.  They can be covered over for a more pleasing look of the overhead cabin area.  Also, if needed in the future, the door hinges can easily be removed by removing the 4 screws, especially if they are covered over with an Overhead Console.
